The Recharge with Milk website has been instrumental in doing just that by regularly posting articles and videos about training, nutrition and other relevant topics.

For example, a few recent articles and videos have featured Andrew Chak, winner of last year’s Recharge Rewards contest. Andrew won a 12-week personalized training program with Olympic athlete Simon Whitfield (as well as other prizes, including a supply of chocolate milk).

These articles and videos talk about Andrew’s workout routine, his tips for staying motivated and his post-workout recovery routine. (Hint: it involves chocolate milk.)

The RwM campaign also continues to sponsor a variety of sporting events to communicate its messages about chocolate milk to Canadian athletes.

Recent events included the Ontario Federation of School Athletics Associations’ Basketball Championships and the Ontario University Athletics Wilson Cup, which both took place in early March.

Spring edition of AYNIC magazine

On March 2, Dairy Farmers of Canada launched “Spring Forward,” the newest issue of the all you need is cheese magazine, to support Canadian cheeses made from 100% Canadian milk. This issue will revitalize readers with fresh-tasting meal solutions.

Readers will also enjoy the first in a new series titled The Taste of Canada, which showcases pairings of Canadian cheese with other distinctly Canadian foods.

This edition features seasonal ingredients and informative content about Canadian cheeses. Readers are invited to discover 12 delicious recipes and a Simple Solutions section showcasing three simple cheese salad dressings.

They will also be inspired by cheese lover Andrew Farrell, chef at 2 Doors Down Food & Wine restaurant in Halifax.

More than 1.5 million copies of the magazine were distributed in Ontario, Western Canada and the Maritimes: 100,000 to subscribers, 1.2 million via newspaper insertions and 200,000 through industry partners.

This high-quality Canadian cheese magazine, published four times a year, contains entertaining and informative content that adds value to the consumer’s perception of cheeses made from 100% Canadian milk.  PD
