What education are you bringing with you to this position?
In addition to years of field experience, I have a bachelor’s degree in animal science with emphasis on genetics and reproductive physiology from Washington State University.

Who has made the biggest impact on your career?
My father Norm has had a huge impact on my career, as have the dairymen throughout the West that I have had the opportunity to work with through the years. With my exposure to a large number of operations and management styles over the years, I will be able to relate the value of our game-changing technology to their operation.

I would like to see SCR collars on every dairy cow and heifer throughout the West.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
I moved back to western Washington nine years ago, and each day I feel lucky to live in one of the best places in the world! I see myself here, in this great agricultural community of the Skagit Valley doing what I love, working with dairymen! PD
