The 2013 Wisconsin Championship Show will be July 15-16 in Lancaster, held in coordination with the state Red and White Holstein Show. The event is set to feature Wisconsin's best from the nine district shows held in June.

Festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. July 14 with the state Red and White show.

On the morning of July 15, the Junior Activities Committee will host a judging and classification contest. The State Holstein Show will begin with heifers at 2 p.m., followed with the state showmanship contest at 7 p.m.

Cows will show starting at 9 a.m. July 16.

More than 1,350 animals were exhibited at nine district shows this year, according to the Wisconsin Holstein Association (WHA). Nearly 300 of them entered for the state black and white show, and an additional 130 head entered for the Red and White Holstein show.
