Dairy producers in Wisconsin were the most likely to attend the World Dairy Expo in 2016, according to a recent survey conducted by Progressive Dairyman.

The next most likely group to attend were 500-plus cow dairies from around the country, with 53 percent of dairies that size indicating they would likely attend. Dairies in surrounding states – Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan – were nearly as likely to attend. Fifty-two percent of dairies in those states said they would travel to Madison, Wisconsin, for the show.

Overall show attendance was 74,572. This was up from 2015’s attendance of 72,427. There were more registered international guests (+48) and more guests from different countries (+8) in 2016 than the previous year.  end mark
