What education are you bringing with you to this position?
I have degree in animal science from The Ohio State University specializing in dairy science. This is combined with many years of experience in the dairy nutrition industry working with nutritionists and dairy producers.
Please describe your agricultural background.
I grew up on a dairy farm in eastern Ohio and attended The Ohio State University studying dairy science. I have almost 29 years of dairy nutrition and management experience and have worked with large dairy producers from across the U.S.
What territory will you cover?
Pacific Northwest and California
What are your new responsibilities?
I provide nutritionists and dairy producers with diagnostic tools for more accurate insights on rumen degradable starch and fiber digestibility, for improved decision-making, ration formulation and feed efficiency.
What previous positions have you held?
I started my career in 1984 in Ohio and spent 20 years working in dairy nutrition in the eastern half of the U.S. In 2004, I moved west and have continued to work in dairy nutrition and account management.
What excites you most about working in your new role?
Calibrate Technologies is an industry-leading forage analysis tool for nutritionists and dairy producers. The information from the company provides better insights for nutritionists to formulate and adjust rations.
With my strong scientific background in nutrition and forage management, I will be able to help nutritionists utilize this tool to help dairy producers achieve their performance goals. I also like to convert highly technical information into easily understood daily application.
This position allows me to utilize my experience and skills to apply the latest innovations in forage and starch digestibilities.

I will have the most impact by being able to tap into my background, experiences and commitment to research and science. In utilizing my resources it will allow me to help bring workable solutions and real-time opportunities to our clients. PD
