Digi‐Star has released a new version of its feed management solution, TMR Tracker. Version 4.1 aims to improve dry matter intake (DMI) tracking, offer flexible workday definitions and enhance premix options.

The product now provides a more accurate income-over-feed-cost value by including feed concentrates into the total DMI amount per pen, according to the company. This includes concentrates fed at robotic milkers, stand‐alone feed systems and the like.

This feature allows a dairy to place more emphasis on ingredient and feed control protocols, according to the company. Users can set the "shift clock" according to their schedule.

Feed managers are able to mix various ingredients a few days in advance to minimize the amount of labor when picking up various smaller inclusion ingredients. It also allows for various count breaks when entering premix amounts in inventory.

Farmers can select the premix as an actual weight or dry weight, and enter 1-pound, 100 pounds, 1,000 pounds and 1-ton increments. PD
