With the total cost of the construction project – along with related new machinery – totalling almost $5 million, this expansion complements other investments made in 2011 at KUHN Krause, Inc. and sets the stage for additional investments by the KUHN Group in 2013 and beyond to continue manufacturing high-quality agricultural equipment products in Hutchinson.

The expansion will improve manufacturing capacity, efficiency and quality with state-of-the-art technology and use of lean manufacturing strategies. Production is being ramped up with the gradual transfer and new installation of manufacturing and storage/handling equipment in this new facility.

A dedication ceremony was held with employees and local dignitaries and guests.

KUHN Krause, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of KUHN North America, Inc., currently employs over 300 people at its Hutchinson location.  FG
