It began as a national grassroots campaign and now has nearly 30,000 supporters across the country that advocate to dramatically increase jobs for America's equipment manufacturers.

The campaign “has proven highly effective since its launch in 2010, and the brand has earned recognition among our members and throughout the manufacturing and public affairs communities,” says AEM President Dennis Slater.

“We are streamlining the ways ‘I Make America’ and AEM advocate for jobs and bring the industry together for greater influence in order to best tell the story of our industry and manufacturing to members of Congress.”

The new website showcases the important contributions of the equipment manufacturing industry, such as the 15,000 new jobs created for every billion dollars in exports of manufactured goods and the agriculture industry’s employment of more than six times as many workers as the U.S. automotive industry.

The site also delivers tips and tools for people to get involved in advocating for job creation and improved equipment manufacturing policies.

By visiting the site and signing up in support of the effort, the company says, members can help show Congress and the Obama administration how important passing strong pro-manufacturing policies is to individual communities and to the country.  FG
